8 Peaceful Morning Prayers to Begin Your Day with Joy

Father God,
I have seen many beautiful paintings; the whimsical swirls by Vincent van Gogh and the delicate play of light in the work of Monet. As wonderful as these pieces of art are and how they move me to praise You, no painting can compare to the wonderful combinations of light, cloud, and sky that You form each morning and evening. Painter of Dawn, how beautiful is Your creation!  

Yet, far too often, I forget to pay attention to the works of art You have made around me, like a sunrise or sunset. These natural parts of creation shout Your praises, and I want to join in their chorus. When I see the pink intermingled with the gold, God turns my thoughts toward worship. May the beauty of the dawn remind me of Your love and presence, so I know that no matter what the day holds, You walk beside me.   

How amazing that You, the Creator of all and great Artist, cares about me. I will spend the rest of my days praising You.
